A tutorial on how to install original rims for GTA III.

If you installed the mod (DMagic1 Wheels Mod) for GTA III that allows you to have original rims in the cars, you don't need to follow those steps. But if you don't have this mod in the game and you still want to have original rims, do following:

1. Go into GTA III/Data and find default.dat and open this file with notepad. Find line:
   	MODELFILE MODELS\GENERIC\WHEELS.DFF

and then add this line directly below it:
   	MODELFILE MODELS\GENERIC\nowheel.DFF

2. Add file "nowheel.dff" directly into GTA III/Models/Generic

3. Open default.ide (with notepad), which will be found in Data folder.
Find line 129 (stallion) and then, on the right side, change the 163 number to 89.

4. In the same file (default.ide) find line 166 where it should be:
   	166, wheel_smallcar, generic, 2, 20, 70, 0

   and add below it:
   	89, wheel_lightmod, generic, 2, 20, 70, 0
